Banqo ("we", "our", "the app") is a mobile application for creating invoices, estimates, and tracking expenses. This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your data when you use our app and website.

2. Data Collection in the App

2.1 Local Data Storage

Banqo stores all your business data locally on your device, including:

• Invoices and estimates
• Customer data
• Expenses and receipts
• Business information and bank details
• App settings

This data is stored in an encrypted local database (SQLCipher) and is not transmitted to our servers.

2.2 Receipt Scanner (AI-powered)

When you use the receipt scanning feature, the image or PDF is sent to our server (Supabase Edge Function) and processed using AI (Anthropic Claude) to extract expense data. Image data is used solely for processing and is not permanently stored.

2.3 In-App Purchases (RevenueCat)

We use RevenueCat for subscription management. The following data is processed:

• Anonymous user ID
• Purchase information (plan, duration)
• Platform and app version

2.4 Crash Reports (Sentry)

We use Sentry for crash reporting to improve app stability. The following technical data is transmitted:

• Device type and operating system
• App version
• Error stack traces

No personal data (names, emails, invoice contents) is sent to Sentry.

2.5 Address Autocomplete

When using the address autocomplete feature, search queries are sent to our server to provide address suggestions via LocationIQ. No personal data is stored from these requests.

2.6 Email Sending

When you send invoices or reminders via email, Banqo opens your device's native email app. Emails are sent directly from your device — not through our servers.

2.7 Biometric Data

Banqo optionally supports biometric lock (fingerprint/face recognition). Biometric data is processed exclusively by the operating system and is not accessible to Banqo.

2.8 No Tracking or Advertising

Banqo does not use:

• Analytics or tracking tools (no Google Analytics, no Firebase Analytics)
• Advertising networks
• Social media trackers
• Advertising IDs

3. Data Collection on the Website

Server Log Files

Our web server automatically collects technical data such as browser type, operating system, referrer URL, and IP address. This data is used solely for ensuring the reliable operation of the website.

Fonts

This website uses locally hosted fonts (Outfit and Fraunces). No connection to external font servers (such as Google) is made.

All data stored in the Banqo app is saved exclusively on your device. Banqo does not operate a server-side database and does not perform automatic cloud backups. Data loss may occur if the app is uninstalled, the device is reset, or the device is lost or damaged. We strongly recommend using the app's export/backup feature regularly.
