Banqo stores all your business data locally on your device, including:

When you use the receipt scanning feature, the image or PDF is sent to our server (Supabase Edge Function) and processed using AI (Anthropic Claude) to extract expense data. Image data is used solely for processing and is not permanently stored.

When using the address autocomplete feature, search queries are sent to our server to provide address suggestions via LocationIQ. No personal data is stored from these requests.
When you send invoices or reminders via email, Banqo opens your device's native email app. Emails are sent directly from your device — not through our servers.
Banqo optionally supports biometric lock (fingerprint/face recognition). Biometric data is processed exclusively by the operating system and is not accessible to Banqo.

All data stored in the Banqo app is saved exclusively on your device. Banqo does not operate a server-side database and does not perform automatic cloud backups. Data loss may occur if the app is uninstalled, the device is reset, or the device is lost or damaged. We strongly recommend using the app's export/backup feature regularly.
